Wind & Whale Celebration at the Point Arena Lighthouse is part of the Almost Fringe Festival   (events in town & at the cove from 11 a.m. to 7 pm) ; Wind & Whale Celebration is open 10am-3:30pm; Whale experts Scott & Tree Mercer are available and Berkeley Kite Wranglers fly their kites for the entire event (or when wind is right!).

The Waves & Whales course begins in the cypress and pine forest and then makes its way out to the bluffs with views of the lighthouse, Arena Cove and hopefully, whales!

Celebrate the Coast

10am - 3:30pm, TBA 2025
There will be activities, information stations, food, trail walks and a shuttle bus between City Hall, Mendocino College Field Station, Bend in the Road and the Lighthouse. It is the 10th anniversary of the Lands being named as part of the California Coastal National Monument.
