Point Arena Third Thursday Poetry

Wind & Whale Celebration at the Point Arena Lighthouse is part of the Almost Fringe Festival   (events in town & at the cove from 11 a.m. to 7 pm) ; Wind & Whale Celebration is open 10am-3:30pm; Whale experts Scott & Tree Mercer are available and Berkeley Kite Wranglers fly their kites for the entire event (or when wind is right!).

Moat Creek Managing Agency fundraiser, offering carnitas and vegetarian tacos, plus live music & silent auction. Funds support coastal trail.

Waves & Whales 5K Run

Saturday, May 2026 TBA ~ The PA-Stornetta Lands
The Waves & Whales course begins in the cypress and pine forest and then makes its way out to the bluffs with views of the lighthouse, Arena Cove and hopefully, whales!

Celebrate the Coast

10am - 3:30pm, TBA 2026
There will be activities, information stations, food, trail walks and a shuttle bus between City Hall, Mendocino College Field Station, Bend in the Road and the Lighthouse. It is the 10th anniversary of the Lands being named as part of the California Coastal National Monument.

Trick or Treat on Main Street

Put on those costumes and bring the family to Point Arena for Halloween fun! Main Street merchants will hand out treats starting at 5:00. Dinner and lodging specials.
