The Point Arena Merchants Association (PAMA) annually produces a brochure and map of all PAMA member businesses.  This brochure is distributed by PAMA members to visitors and helps build awareness of the vibrant and diverse businesses in the Point Arena area.  This brochure features selected images of locations in and around Point Arena, and for past brochures this has included pictures of Arena Cove, downtown Point Arena, Point Arena-Stornetta Lands, Point Arena Lighthouse, Manchester Beach, Pelican Bluffs and Bowling Ball Beach.  This Call to Artist is to request submissions from local artists of images that can be used in the 2025/2026 brochure/map and other publicity (PAMA website, Facebook, etc.).  The image should be of a location in or around Point Arena, from Anchor Bay to Manchester. We typically print and distribute 5,000 brochure/maps annually. There were five (5) photos used in the 2024 brochure/map (PDF attached) and we plan to use the same number for the 2025/2026 brochure/map:

We encourage you to submit your best pictures that capture the beauty of this unique area and its “Natural Point of View.”  Images should be high quality JPG or PNG format and can be either portrait or landscape orientation.  There is no compensation, just bragging rights and the satisfaction of having your work in the brochure/map with your name on it.

 

Submitters grant to PAMA the right to use the images in any publicity media (print, online, social media, etc.) without restriction, and to crop or resize the image as needed to fit into the publicity media space.  Submitter retains overall copyright to submitted images and PAMA can only use the submitted images in the publicity material for the 2025/2026 PAMA brochure and map, PAMA website and/or social media platforms, or other online or print PAMA publicity.
