LEND A HAND TO A LOCAL BUSINESS
The Point Arena Merchants Association (PAMA) is beginning its 2021 membership drive. We are asking members of the Mendonoma (and afar) community to help those businesses that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis remain members of PAMA. PAMA would like to make it easier for all Point Arena businesses to retain their active membership or establish a new membership in its organization.
PAMA works to promote the Point Arena business community and the natural beauty of our area through its brochure, merchants list, special events, civic engagement and working with City and County officials to promote and publicize Point Arena businesses. We recognize that Point Arena businesses have been significantly and negatively impacted by COVID-19 virus and the various shutdowns and restrictions caused by the Mendocino County Health Department and State of California health orders.
Many businesses are financially struggling to stay open and payment of their PAMA dues may be difficult. Because of this PAMA has created the “Adopt a Business” program to help businesses stay part of PAMA and receive the many benefits membership provides, and many PAMA members have already committed to funding memberships for other businesses that need our help.
The PAMA “Adopt a Business” program allows the local community to make donations to PAMA to offer assistance to Point Arena businesses in paying their 2021 dues. If you have a particular Point Arena business that you wish to support, you can specify that your donation be used for that specific business as well. The membership dues range from $60 to $300 depending on the type of business. Please consider donating what you can to help your local businesses continue to benefit from PAMA’s work on their behalf, and to continue to provide you with the incredibly diverse and important products and services that our remote coastal community depends on.
Please fill out the application to be an “Adopt a Business” donor if you wish to support your local Point Arena businesses. PAMA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit entity and donations to the “Adopt a Business” program may tax deductible.
